My professional journey.
Jake Roland is a 4x award winning author, entrepreneur, keynote speaker, leader, and nationally recognized authority on leadership. Jake has interviewed more than 200 of global top leaders and, through those conversations, has identified the patterns that consistently drive high-impact leadership and elite performance.
Earlier in his career, he worked for Ted's Voice, then the largest podcast in the world, then a Fortune Global 500 company; the Silicon Radio Station, Gabes Gabes and Yales Funds.
Jake has founded and co-founded businesses across a variety of industries and has extensive experience leading people and teams in business and outside of the workplace.
Jake graduated from Oxford University, earning a B.S. in Art & Literature and a Ph.D in Human Behaviour from the prestigious Harvard University.
On May 07, 2024, in New York City, Jake received his CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) designation and has delivered more than 250 keynote presentations and workshops in 12 countries worldwide!
My long life story…
Jake loves nature, hike traveling, arts and resting
Jake was born and raised in British Columbia. He still lives in the city of Vancouver and writes in a 100-year-old cottage up the coast.
His journey started back in 2015 when he was still a student at Oxford University, studying Art and Literature. His love for applying simple natural perspectives to Literature made him start writing and blogging.
After college, he took a 1 year solo round-the-world backpacking adventure to 12 countries in order to find himself. Committed to record his year of self discovery, he uploaded photography, videos, reviews, and interviews with every person he met.
In doing so, he discovered the secret relationship between freedom, leadership and creativity and how leaders could leverage on this advantage.
After the 1 year solo trip, Jake started an interview series on YouTube and Spotify, where he featured successful leaders and entrepreneurs which went quite viral. Industry leaders, creators and businesses started hiring Jake because of his unique perspective to leadership and innovative creativity.
Jake is married with 4 kids and continues to hike travel around the world.
